Margaret completed four years of midwifery training in Uganda before moving to Germany in 2019. She knew she wanted to practise as a midwife here too, because it is her dream job.
Recognition of her qualification took 17 months of language courses, paperwork and an internship at the Asklepios Harzklinik Goslar. In April 2023 she received her German midwife licence, the first and only midwife in the Goslar district to do so through this route, and joined the team as a permanent midwife.
Today Margaret brings that clinical experience and a global perspective to families in Kassel, running a women-owned practice built on respect, personal care and holistic support.
